Nazaret (47) returns to his neighborhood after serving a prison sentence for drug trafficking, with the sole desire of leaving his past behind and winning back Carmen (35), his former love. However, he is confronted with a harsh reality: Carmen has rebuilt her life as a nurse and is now married, his own mother has not forgiven him, and his brother Víctor is hiding dark secrets.

Meanwhile, the situation becomes even more complicated with the arrival of Ricardo (23), a young doctor struggling with economic hardship who becomes involved in the life of Karina (18), Carmen’s niece, sparking jealousy and gender-based violence.
